Where does the tour start?

The tour starts at our Welcome Center that has been graciously provided by ONE Archives Gallery  Museum at 626 N. Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Our tour welcome center will open at 12:15 PM before each tour begins. You must be there no later than 12:30 PM to confirm your spot on the bus. Anyone arriving after that time will be considered a cancellation and your seat will be resold.

At 12:50 PM, after everyone has had one last chance to use the potty, we will exit en masse to board the bus.

Do you bring us back to the same location after the tour?

No. We drop you off somewhere around Dodger Stadium. Yes, of course, we bring you back to the same location.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards when you book online.

How far in advance must we reserve?

As soon as your plans are definite, you should purchase your tickets. The bus only accommodates 45 passengers, so tours book up fast. Provided that seats are available, you may still purchase tickets the morning of the tour. Please be aware of our cancellation policy before purchasing tickets.

What is the cancellation policy?

And now, for the serious part... We want to make your experience with us enjoyable. Please make sure to read the following information prior to booking.

Full refund with written email notification to cancellations@outandabout-tours.com, more than 72 hours notice prior to tour departure time.

50% refund with written email notification to cancellations@outandabout-tours.com, more than 48 hours notice prior to tour departure time.

Refunds will not be given within 2 hours prior to scheduled tour departure time. Sorry, No Exceptions!

All Refunds, cancellations, and / or changes maybe subject to a $10.00 p rocessing fee. Please see our full Cancellation Policy even more details.

How long is the tour?

You got somewhere else to go? The tour is scheduled from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. You will need to be at the Welcome Center by 12:30 PM. Traffic can cause us to be late upon returning to West Hollywood. You should not book anything immediately after the tour (dinner reservations, travel plans, etc.) as, while it is our wish to return by 4:00 PM, there is no guarantee. Also, we will tell you all about the Happy Hour hotspots in town.

Will food and beverages be served?

You sure are nervy, aren't you? Actually, there will be light snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at some of the stops we make. You should definitely have a big breakfast or a small lunch before the tour. The tour ends just in time for an early dinner or, more importantly, for happy hour!

Where does the SunGay Brunch Tour start?

The SunGay Brunch Tour starts at Mexico Restaurante y Barra at 8512 Santa Monica Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90046 - (310) 289-0088 .

Appetizers and mimosas will be served 12:15 PM before each tour begins. You must be there no later than 12:30 PM to confirm your spot on the bus. Anyone arriving after that time will be considered a cancellation and your seat will be resold.

We will be on the second floor of the restaurant. Please take the stairs at the right of the patio up to the second floor to register with us and start enjoying your food and drink.

At 12:50 PM, after everyone has had one last chance to use the potty, we will exit en masse to board the bus.

SunGay Brunch Parking

We suggest parking in the lot of Al & Ed’s Autosound at 8500 Santa Monica Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069-4108. It is closed on Sundays and they have made the lot available for us to park there. It is right next door to Mexico on your left when facing the restaurant.

You may also street park in West Hollywood on Sundays. Please be advised to read all posted signs and placards in the City of West Hollywood to avoid ticketing or towing.

Is this tour for everyone?

Who wants to know? Pat Robertson? First off, it's for adults only, 21 and older. We cater to straight or gay, young or old, paper or plastic. Just roll, you'll be glad you did.

Is there parking?

We suggest parking at King Valet Parking at 665 N. Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069. It is $8 for the day. It is just across the street from our Welcome Center and the location of the after-tour reception.

If and when Robertson Blvd. is closed for certain events in West Hollywood (ie: Halloween, Gay Pride, etc.) We suggest parking at the MOCA Pacific Design Center at 8687 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, CA 90069. Parking ranges from $10-$13.50.

As you are responsible for parking on your own, you may park anywhere you wish. Please be advised to read all posted signs and placards in the City of West Hollywood to avoid ticketing or towing. DO NOT park in a metered space. Be prepared to be parked for at least 4 hours.

What shall I wear?

Have you no fashion sense? Just kidding. Wear whatever is comfortable. There are no dress codes for the places we are visiting. Just have comfortable walking shoes, as several parts of the tour will be on foot. If there is a chance of inclement weather, be prepared!

Should I bring cash?

Glad you asked. Bring yo' cash, girl! You should be prepared to have cash on hand for parking your car and for tipping the bus staff at the end of the tour. Tipping is like true love - it's gotta come from the heart, and is not something that can or should be given on demand. If you enjoyed yourself, feel free to do so. Also, you'll want it for Happy Hour after the tour.

About Online Booking

Do I receive a confirmation?

When you book online, you receive 2 confirmation emails: one from PayPal, our secure payment provider, as a proof of your payment, and one from Out & About Tours that confirms your booking(s) and the details of your tour(s). You should receive an email from PayPaly a few minutes after your booking. Out & About Tours will send out an email within 24 hours.

Is it secure to enter my credit card number?

Out & About Tours uses the services of PayPal for secure payment. PayPal is an expert on secure payment and uses the latest encryption techniques to ensure maximum security when you pay online.

Do you use my personal information?

As we are aware of your desire for privacy (on and off the bus), the information you give, including your email address, is used only by Out & About Tours and won't be sold or used for any other purpose. Please see our Privacy Policy more detailed information.
